Singapore Cargo B747-412F 9V-SFM visits Adelaide

Singapore Airlines Cargo B747-412F 9V-SFM arrived from Melbourne as 'SQC7289' at 19.52hrs. It departed as 'SQC7289' to Singapore at 21.42hrs.

This was 9V-SFM's 2nd visit for the month of May, it visited on 10/5/13 routing Auckland-Adelaide-Singapore..

Hifly A340-300 CS-TQM makes a visit

Hifly A340-300 CS-TQM operated by ADA Gold arrived from Sydney at 14.18hrs as 'ASY22'. It then departed at 15.15 to Darwin using the same callsign.

This is CS-TQM's 2nd visit in a week. It arrived last Tuesday 21/5/13 at 1700 and departing at 1800, the origion and destination were the same as today's flight.

Qantas A330-300 VH-QPI diverts to Adelaide

Due to heavy fog at Sydney Airport this morning, Adelaide received one diversion.

Qantas A330-300 VH-QPI operating QF24 en route Bangkok Sydney arrived at 06.48hrs. After refueling and waiting for the weather to clear the aircraft continued to Sydney as QF24 departing at 08.15hrs.

Thi is the 1st Qantas A330-300 to visit Adelaide since Qantas ceased their thrice weekly Sydney-Adelaide-Singapore-Adelaide-Sydney service on April 15th 2013.

Virgin Australia Regional A320 VH-FNP makes a visit

Virgin Australia Regional A320-200 VH-FNP arrived from Port Headland at 19.33hrs, after a quick refuel and de-boarding the aircraft departed to Perth at 20.52hrs.

Although this aircraft is now operated by Virgin Australia the aircraft still wears its former operator Skywest's livery. In April 2013 Virgin Australia gained approval to takeover and re-brand Skywest airlines based in WA. They have slowly started this process with 2x F50's & 1 F100 have been re-painted from Skywest to Virgin Australia.

Falcon 7X VH-MQK (1st Visit)

MKAIR Pty Ltd. owned Falcon 7X VH-MQK arrived at 14.16hrs. The aircraft departed at 16.55hrs.

This was VH-MQK's 1st visit to Adelaide as a Falcon 7X, also it was the 3rd Falcon 7X to ever visit Adelaide. 

Qantas B737-838 VH-XZF (1st Visit)

Qantas B737-838 VH-XZF arrived ex. Sydney at 20.10hrs as 'QF743'. After night stopping in Adelaide, the aircraft departed to Alice Springs at 10.10hrs as 'QF723'.

This is VH-XZF's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft was delivered to Qantas on 12/5/13 when it arrived into Melbourne from Boeing Field via Honolulu and Nadi.

Alliance Airlines Fokker 70 VH-QQX makes a quick visit

Alliance Airlines F28-0070 VH-QQX made a quick visit to Adelaide for refueling. Arriving from Essendon at 14.59hrs as 'QQ5849', it departed at 15.37hrs to Telfar, WA using the same flight number.

Singapore Cargo B747-412F 9V-SFM visits Adelaide

Singapore Airlines Cargo B747-412F 9V-SFM arrived from Auckland as 'SQC7291' at 11.04hrs. It departed as 'SQC7291' to Singapore at 13.39hrs.

Adelaide is not known for its Cargo movements, up until April 2012 Singapore Cargo used to service Adelaide once a week routing Singapore-Sydney-Adelaide-Singapore. Prior to that Singapore Cargo varied its frequency and days it operated to Adelaide.

 This was the 1st visit of a Singapore Cargo aircraft since 24/5/12 when 9V-SFD operated a once off charter as SQC7124 Singapore-Sydney-Adelaide-Singapore. 

Cathay Pacific A330-300 B-LBA (1st Visit)

Cathay Pacific A330-300 B-LBA arrived ex. Hong Kong at 09.50hrs as 'CX105'. It departed at 11.20hrs to Melbourne as 'CX104'.

This is LBA's 1st visit to Adelaide and to Australia since being delivered to Cathay Pacific. 

Pilatus PC-12 HB-FRT (1st Visit)

Pilatus PC-12 HB-FRT arrived from Ayres Rock at 14.00hrs, the aircraft flew Darin-Ayres Rock on 30/4/13. This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is unclear at this stage as to the purpose of the aircra'ts visit to Adelaide. It is unclear at this stage whether it is a delivery flight to a local operator, on a demonstration tour or the operator is on a well earned holiday touring Australia.
