Singapore Airlines A330-300 9V-STV (1st Visit)

Singapore Airlines A330-300 9V-STV arrived from Singapore at 07.50hrs as 'SQ279'. The aircraft departed at 10.55hrs as 'SQ278'.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was also its1st visit to Australia since being delivered to the airline 21/6/13

Alliance Fokker 70 VH-JFB (1st Visit)

Alliance Airlines F28-070 VH-JFB arrived into Adelaide at 16.00hrs from Prominent Hill as 'QQ4549'. After a quick re-fuel the aircraft continued to Essendon at 17.00hrs using the same flight number
This was VH-JFB's 1st visit to Adelaide. VH-JFB is the most recent addition to the Alliance Airlines fleet,  the aircraft also sprots a hybrid livery. With the standard Alliance airline tail, the fueselage of the aircraft sports thing blue cheat, lines which represent the aircraft's former owners (Fords) scheme.

VistaJet Global Express 9H-VJA (1st Visit)

Making a very quick visit this evening was VistaJet owned Global Express 9H-VJA. The aircraft arrived from Sydney at 21.40hrs as 'VJT741',  before departing at 22.55 hours to Hong  Kong using the same flight number.

This is the 1st visit by this aircraft to Adelaide. This was the 2nd visit of a Vistajet owned aircraft to Adelaide aswell as the 2nd visit of a Maltese registed aircraft to Adelaide. The other 9H- aircraft to visit Adelaide was Comlux Aviation A318 9H-0AFL which was used by rock Band ACDC. 

Jetstar Airways A320-200 VH-VFO (1st Visit)

Jetstar Airways A320-200 VH-VFO arrived ex. Sydney at 13.35 as 'JQ766', before departing at 14.30hrs back to Sydney as 'JQ767'.

This was VFO's 1st visit to Adelaide since entering service on 21/6/13. This is also the 2nd A320 aircraft to visit Adelaide wearing the new sharklets. 

Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YFP (1st Visit)

Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YFP arrived ex, Melbourne at 09.15hrs as 'VA215'. The aircraft departed at 11.30hrs to Sydney as 'VA417'.

This was VH-YFP's 1st visit to Adelaide since entering service on Wednesday 19/6/13.

Singapore Airlines Cargo B747-412F 9V-SFO makes a visit

Singapore Cargo B747-412F 9V-SFO arrived from Auckland at 11.25hrs as 'SQ7291'. The aircraft departed Adelaide at 14.25hrs bound for Singapore using the same flight number 'SQ7291'.

This was 9V-SFO's 1st visit to Adelaide in quite sometime. Singapore Cargo have recently been a common sight into Adelaide, with flights operating fortnightly routing Auckland-Adelaide-Singapore.

Alliance F70 VH-QQR (1st Visit)

Alliance Airlines F28-0070 VH-QQR made a quick visit to Adelaide for refueling. Arriving from Prominent Hill at 16.40hrs as 'QQ4549' before departing at 17.25hrs to Essendon. VH-QQR returned back to Adelaide this morning en-route Essendon-Prominent Hill as 'QQ4540'. Arriving at 10.27hrs, the aircraft departed at 11.36hrs.

This was QQR's 1st visit to Adelaide. This is only the 3rd ever F70 to visit Adelaide, with fellow Alliance F70's VH-QQX and VH-QQY the only other visitors

Virgin Australia A330-200 VH-XFA diverts to Adelaide

Virgin Australia A330-200 VH-XFA operating 'VA564' en-route Perth-Sydney diverted to Adelaide this evening, arriving at 21.20hrs. The aircraft overnighted in Adelaide and departed to Sydney at 10.45hrs as 'VA9501'.

The reason for the diversion was due to bad weather in Sydney would enable the aircraft to be put in a holding pattern, due to Sydney having a curfew beginning at 23.00hrs, the aircraft felt it would not make it in by the curfew.

Qantas B737-838 VH-XZG (1st Visit)

Qantas B737-838 VH-XZG arrived from Sydney as 'QF759 'at 16.21hrs. The aircraft departed to Perth as 'QF595' at 17.30hrs.

This was XZG's 1st visit to Adelaide, this was its 2nd revenue service since it entered service earlier today 11/6/13. VH-XZG was delivered to Qantas on 7/6/13 arriving into Melbourne from Bowing field via Honolulu-Nadi and Sydney. This is Qantas's 101st B737 and 251st Boeing aircraft.

Crown Casino Gulftsream 4 VH-CGF visits again

Making its 2nd visit in 3 days was Crown Casino Gulfstream 4 VH-CGF. The aircraft arrived from Melbourne at 14.05hrs, after a short stop it departed back to Melbourne at 14.45hrs.

Fog in Perth and Sydney brings diversions to Adelaide

Fog at both Perth and Sydney airports led to Adelaide reeiving some diversions early this morning...

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ECE operating 'EK424' Dubai-Perth arrived at 03.17hrs. The aircraft is still on the ground in Adelaide.

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBM operating 'QF653' Melbourne to Perth arrived at 03.42hrs. This aircraft initally diverted to Kalgoorlie, before trying to get into Perth, it failed its attempt and came to Adelaide. The aircraft is still on the ground in Adelaide

Jetstar A320 VH-VQI operating 'JQ980' Brisbane to Perth arrived at 04.42hrs from Kalgoorlie. Like VH-EBM this flight initially diverted to Kalgorrlie, however instead of going to Perth, it flew Kalgoorlie-Adelaide. The aircraft is still on the ground in Adelaide

Qantas A330-300 VH-QPG operatng 'QF24' Bangkok to Sydney arrived at 06.00hrs. The aircraft contined its journey to Sdney, departing at 07.10hrs

Crown Casino Gulftsream 4 VH-CGF makes a visit

Crown Casino Gulfstream 4 VH-CGF arrived from Melbourne at 12.15hrs. After a short stop it departed back to Melbourne at 14.15hrs. 

This was VH-CGF's 1st visit to Adelaide in daylight hours and only its 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its only visit to Adelaide was back on 27th May 2009.

Falcon 20 VH-PNY (1st visit)

Business Air Solutions Falcon 20 VH-PNY arrived at 19.55hrs from Darwin.

This was PNY's 1st visit to Adelaide. This aircraft usually resides at Bansktown Airport, NSW.

Falcon 900 N900KJ arrives

Kendall Jackson Wine Estates Pty Ltd. Falcon 900 N900KJ arrived at 17.25hrs from Nadi. The aircraft began its flight to Adelaide from Schulz- Sonoma Airport, Santa Rosa- California to Honolulu, Hawaii then onto Nadi.

This is the 2nd visit by this aircraft to Adelaide. Its 1st visit was back on 5/3/12.

Virgin Australia B737-8FE VH-YFN (1st Visit)

Virgin Australia B737-8FE VH-YFN arrived at 10.15hrs from Melbourne as 'VA215'. It departed to Sydney as 'VA417' at 11.40hrs.

This was YFN's 1st visit to Adelaide since being delivered on 16/5/13.
