Qantas B747-400 VH-OJT makes a visit

Qantas B747-400 VH-OJT arrived ex.Sydney at 11.05hrs as 'QF6007'. The aircraft then departed to Darwin at 12.45hrs as 'QF1364'. It is understood the aircraft was preforming a Defence Force charter up to Darwin.

This was OJT's 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its one and only previous visit was 21/10/13 whe the aircraft diverted to Adelaide whilst operating 'QF6' from Singapore-Sydney

Air Med International Hawker 800 N811AM (1st visit)

Air Med. International Hawker 800 N811AM arrived from Brisbane at 00.05hrs. After spending the day in Adelaide the aircraft departed back to Birsbane at 15.30hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the 1st foreign medical flight Adelaide has recived in 2016.

VistaJet Malta Global 6000 9H-VJJ (1st Visit)

VistaJet Malta 9H-VJJ arrived ex. Phuket at 08.00hrs as 'VJT 822'. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide for 4 days before departing to Sydney at 08.15hrs on 28/3/16 using the same flight number.

This was VJJ's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was also the 2nd Vista Jet Malta aircraft to visit Adelaide in 2016.

Tigerair B737-800 VH-VOY (1st visit as Tigerair)

Tigerair B737-800 VH-VOY arrived ex. Melbourne as 'TT9020' at 06.45hrs. The aircraft departed at 10.00hrs as 'TT17' bound for Denpasar.

This was VOY's 1st visit to Adelaide in Tigerair colours, the aircraft was preivously painted in Virgin Australia colurs using the same registration.

Tigerair replaced Virgin Australia on the 5 weekly Adelaide-Denpsar-Adelaide as well as Melbourne and Perth-Denpsar flights from today. The airline is currently using 3 ex. Virgin Australia VH-VOY, VOR & VUB.

Gulfstream 550 N138GL (1st Visit)

SWR Services Gulfstream 550 N138GL arrived at 17.20hrs ex. Melbourne  as 'Twilight 5'. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide for a couple of days and departed on 17/3/16 to Hong Kong at 14.30hrs using the same callsign. 

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. 

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE diverts in

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE operating 'NZ175' from Auckland to Perth arrived into Adelaide at 13.15hrs due to an un-well passenger. After off loading the passenger and a quick refuel. The aircraft departed at 15.10hrs continuing its journey to Perth.

This was ZK-NZE's 2nd visit to Adelaide. NZE made history as the 1st B787 to ever visit Adelaide back on 26/10/14

Emirates A380 A6-EDM diverts to Adelaide (1st Visit)

Emirates A380 A6-EDM operating 'EK406' from Dubai-Melbourne diverted to Adelaide due to Poor weather. The aircraft arrived at 07.45hrs and after refueling and waiting for the weather to clear the aircraft continued to Melbourne departing at 09.45hrs.

This was EDM's 1st visit to Melbourne. This was the 3rd Emirates A380 to visit Adelaide with sister ships EDC and EEF both diverting.

Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKH diverts to Adelaide (1st visit)

Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKH operating 'JQ24' from Tokyo-Narita- Melbourne diverted to Adelaide this morning due to poor weather. The aircraft arrived at 00.10hrs, after resting in Adelaide for the weather to clear the aircraft departed to Melbourne at 11.25hrs as 'JQ7991'.


This was VKH-'s 1st visit to Adelaide, it was also the 1st visit of a Jetstar B787 to Adelaide. This was the 4th B787 to ever visit Adelaide.

Global Express SE-RMT makes a visit

Global Express SE-RMT arrived ex. Singapore at 14.50hrs. After night stopping in Adelaide the aircraft departed to Sydney at 18.30hrs bound for Sydney.

This was RMT's 2nd visit to Adelaide in the space of 1 year. The aircraft visited Adelaide back on 4/7/15.

Surveillance Australia Challenger 604 C-FKUL completes delivery

Australian Maritime Safety Authority/ Surveillance Australia Challenger 604 C-FKUL arrived from Nadi at 13.35hrs. The aircraft started its delivery flight on 29/2/16 when it flew Toronto- Tucson, then flew Tucson-Hilo-Nadi- Adelaide spanning over 4 days.

This is the 2nd of 4 challengers that AMSA have acquired to replace the existing Dornier 328 fleet. The fitting out of these aircraft will be done in Adelaide by Cobham. 

Norlease Inc Gulfstream 550 N866BB (1st Visit)

Norlease Inc Owned Gulfstream 550 N866BB arrived ex. Papeete at 15.25hrs. After spending a couple of days in Adelaide, the aircraft departed on 5/3/16 at 17.25hrs to Sydney.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide.
