This is Air New Zealand's 2nd term for Adelaide services. Their 1st time lasted 8 years from December 1989 to March 1996. During this 8 year term the airline operated mainly B767's on the Adelaide Auckland flights where it would ooperate 2 services per week..
After a 10 year absence, Air New Zealand restarted Adelaide flights on March 26th 2006 initially with 3 flights a week using A320's. Since the restart of these services the airline has predominately used A320, with the occasional B767-300's and a once off B777-200ER be used on the flight. Frequency varies depending on the time of year. On average they service Adelaide 5 times a week, with the odd drop to 3-4 a week then maximum is daily flights.

Emirates began Adelaide services on November 1st 2012 when it operated 4x a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday) using 358 Seat (3 class) B777-300ER's. On February 1st 2013 the airline increased services to Daily.

Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines currently operate 12 flights a week between Adelaide and Singapore. They currently use A330-300's to operate their flights. Over recent year Singapore Airlines have become a firm presecence in Adelaide, Orginally going from 2 flights a week, increasing to 4, 5, 6 then became the 1st International airline to operate daily flights out of Adelaide.
From December 2011 to January 2012 Singapore became the 1st airline to operate multiple daily service, when they added an extra 3 flights a week using B777-200ER's in conjunction with the Daily A330-300 service. In July 2012 the airline made the extra 3 flights a week a permanent flight.
A year later, in July 2013 Singapore Airlines increased from 10 flights a week to 12 flights a week.
Virgin Blue/ Virgin Australia
Virgin Australia have been flying internationally out of Adelaide since December 2008. On 1/12/08 then Pacific Blue (international offshoot of Virgin Blue) began Flights from Adelaide to Denpasar, Bali. Initially the flights would operate twice a week.

From April 17th 2009, Denpasar flights was then increased to 4 flights a week, when a Sunday flihgt ws introduced.
2.5 years later on November 19th 2011, Virgin would increase Adelaide-Denpasar flights would increase to 5 flights a week. This is the current frequency for this flight.

On March 19th 2009, Virgin blue announced that they would commence twice weekly direct flights between Adelaide and Nadi, Fiji. These flights began on June 4th 2009. These flights did not last to long with flights cancelled a couple of months into operation. on September 1st 2009 flights restarted again before finally being cancelled not long afterwards.
