Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YFU (1st Visit)

Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YFU arrived from Alice Springs at 13.00hrs at 'VA1740'. The aircraft then departed back to Alice Springs at 14.00hrs as 'VA1741'.

This was YFU's 1st visit to Adelaide since entering service with the airline on 24/10/15.

Gulfstream 650 ZK-KFB (1st visit)

Executive Airlines Gulfstream 650 ZK-KFB arrived ex. Sydney at 01.15hrs. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide for a couple of days before departing to Perth at 23.00hrs on 28/10/15.

This was KFB's 1st visit to Adelaide as a G650. KFB has visited previously when it was worn on a Gulfstream 4 and 550. This was also the 2nd visit of a Gulfstream 650 to Adelaide. This visit by ZK-KFB was to carry seventies band Fleetwood Mac around the country for their current tour.

Double A380's in Adelaide

A piece of history was witnessed in Adelaide this evening with not 1 but 2 A380's paying Adelaide a visit due to bad weather in Melbourne.

Qantas A380 VH-OQD operating 'Qantas 10 Super' from (London)- Dubai- Melbourne arrived into Adelaide at 21.25hrs. After refueling the aircraft departed back to Melbourne at 22.30hrs using the same flight number.

This was OQD's 2nd visit to Adelaide in the space of 3 weeks, with the same aircraft diverting to Adelaide on 18/9/15 operating the same flight.

Emirates A380 A6-EEH operating 'Emirates 407 Super' from Auckland-Melbourne arrived into Adelaide at 21.40hrs. After sitting down the end of the runway for almost 1hr, the aircraft finally manged to get a bay and get refueled, 'Emirates 407 Super' departed at 23.40hrs back to Melbourne.

This was EEH's 1st visit to Adelaide, the 2nd Emirates A380 to visit Adelaide (A6-EDC visited back in 21/2/13), it was also the 1st A6-EE* block of aircraft in the Emirates fleet to visit Adelaide,

Gulfstream 550 N344RS (1st Visit)

Locheed Martin operated Gulfstream 550 N344RS arrived at 08.40hrs from Sydney. After night stopping in Adelaide, the aircraft departed on 9/10/15 to Honolulu at 07.00hrs.

This was N344RS's 1st visit to Adelaide.

Falcon 2000 VH-FJO makes a visit (1st Visit)

Sydney Jet Charter operator Flacon 2000 VH-FJO arrived from Pt. Augusta at 16.20hrs. The aaircraft ond departed at 10.00hrs to Parkes, NSW.

This was FJO's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the 1st Falcon 2000 to visit Adelaide in 2015.

China Southern B787-8 B-2735 diverts to Adelaide

China Southern B787-8 B-2735 operating 'CZ319' from Guangzhou- Perth arrived into Adelaide at 11.55hrs due to thick fog blanketing Perth. After spending a little bit of time in Adelaide and a quick refuel the aircraft departed back to Perth at 13.15hrs.

This was the 1st visit of B-2735 to Adelaide, it was alost the 2nd visit of B787-8 to Adelaide. However it was the 3rd visit by a B787 to Adelaide, the 1st was Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE back in November 2014 and 2nd was China Southern B787-8 B-2372 on 5/7/15.

Thomson Airways (TCS Expeditions) B757-200(WL) G-OOBF makes another visit

Thomson Airways (operated by TCS Expeditions) B757-200(WL) G-OOBF arrived ex. Fua'amotu International Airport, Tonga at 13.10hrs as 'Thomson 980'. After spending 4 days in Adelaide the aircraft departed to Jakarta at 12.10hrs on 5/10/15 using the same callsign.

This is G-OOBF's 2nd visit to Adelaide in 2015. The aircraft visited 18/4/15- 22/4/15. The aircraft is decked out in a all business class configuration. Adelaide was the 3rd stop in a 8 leg around the world flight.
