Adelaide Airport welcomes Qatar Airways and the A350

Qatar Airways Airbus A350-900 A7-ALH arrived from Doha at 15.55hrs as the inaugural 'QR914'. The aircraft departed back to Doha at 21.40hrs as 'QR915'.

This was an historic event for Adelaide and Australia. Qatar become the 7th airline currently flying to Adelaide, it is currently the longest flight out of Adelaide, it was also the 1st visit of an Airbus A350 to Adelaide as well as the 1st commercial service of an A350 to Australia.

Qatar will fly daily flight to Adelaide arriving at 1700 and departing at 2125 back to Doha using their flagship Airbus 350-900 aircraft which is configured to carry 293 passengers.
