Hong Kong Jet A330-200 VP-CBE arrived ex. Auckland at 10.40hrs using 'Victor Papa- Charlie Bravo Echo' as its callsign. The aircraft parked initially at bay 22 at the passenger terminal, before being towed around to bay 82 where it will presumably stay for the duration of its visit to Adelaide.

This is this aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide, it is also the 1st visit of an A330 bizjet to visit Adelaide. This particular aircraft was originally built for Air Asia X to become 9M-XXI, however it waqs not taken up by the airline. It was then configured into a VIP aircraft and re-registered VP-CBE. This aircraft has been touring the region for the past 3 weeks. Originally arriving in Coolangatta from Manila on 7/12/14, the same evening it made the short hop to Brisbane Airport where it would stay until 14/12/14 when it would depart to Sydney. After spending a week in Sydney it departed to Auckland.

RLB Holdings Dassult Falcon 900 N610RL arrived ex. Kingscote at 15.00hrs,. After spending Christmas in Adelaide the aircraft departed to Kingscote on 26/12/14 at 09.40hrs.

This was the F900's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft is scheduled to depart Kingscote for Sydney at 11.00hrs

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. VFY was delivered to Jetstar on 8/12/14 and entered service on 12/12/14.

RDC Marine Gulfstream 4 N5RD arrived from Nadi, Fiji at 15.00hrs. The aircraft overnight and depared the following day to Sydney at 18.30hrs,

This is the 1st visit of this registration to Adelaide, the actual frame has visited Adelaide before when it was based in Australia under its previous registration VH-TGG which it carried from 1999 to 2004

Qantas B737-800 VH-XZP 'Retro Roo' visits Adelaide (1st Visit)

Qantas B737-800 VH-XZP arrived at 08.45hrs from Sydney as 'QF735'. The aircraft departed back to Sydney at 09.30hrs as 'QF738'.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. This aircraft was is the 75th and final B737-800 to be delivered to Qantas, this aircraft is also painted in the airlines former livery call ed the 'flying kangaroo' which the airline used in the 1980's.

Cobham Aviation E190 D-AEMG completes delivery flight

Cobham Aviation Embraer 190 D-AEMG arrived from Kupang, Indonesia at 22.05hrs as 'Southern Cross 1429' completing itds delivery flight from Europe. 

This is the 1st E190 to be delivered to Cobham. The following day, the aircraft was re-regsitered VH-NJA which was previously worn by a Bae146-100.

Singapore Airlines A330-300 9V-SSC finally makes its 1st visit

Singapore Airlines A330-300 9V-SSC arrived at 09.10hrs as 'SQ279' from Singapore. The aircraft departed at 12.00hrs back to Singapore as 'SQ278'.

This was SSC's 1st visit to Adelaide after nearly 4 months in service with the airline. It is the last of the A330-300's to make at least 1 visit to Adelaide.

Star City Gulfstream 4 N104AD comes to town (1st Visit)

Star City Gulfstream 4 N104AD arrived at 05.15hrs from Perth. After staying a couple of days, the aircraft departed to Melbourne on 6/11/14 at 00.40hrs.

This was this Gulfstream's 1st visit to Adelaide. This aircraft was taking American singer Mariah Carey for her tour around Australia.

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE operating 'NZ176' operating from Perth to Auckland diverted to Adelaide due to a medical emergency. The aircraft arrived at 00.05hrs and then continued to Auckland departing at 01.50hrs.

This aircraft also wears the Air New Zealand special 'All Blacks' Livery. This was the 1st visit of an All blacks special to visit Adelaide. The airlines has an A320 (Domestic flights only), ATR, and a B777-300ER that are painted up in this speicla livery.

Cessna Aircraft Company owned Cessna 525C (CJ4) N159CJ arrived today from Sydney at 12.25hrs. The aircraft departed at 15.30hrs on a 1 hour demonstration tour around South Australia, it arrived back into Adelaide at 16.35hrs.

Safair C130 Hercules ZS-JIV makes a visit (1st Visit)

Safair Lockhhed L100 Hercules ZS-JIV arrived from the Cocos Island at 20.00hrs as 'Safair 518'. The aircraft overnighted in Adelaide, before departing to Chritchurch, NZ at 10.45hrs using the same callsign.

This is the JIV's 1st visit to Adelaide. Safair are yearly visitors to Adelaide as they use the airport as a tech stop en route from South Africa to Christchurch for the up coning Antarctic expeditions.

This was SSD's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered service on 23/9/14. The aircraft was delivered to Singapore direct from Toulouse, France on 21/9/14.

Cathay Pacific Cargo B747-867F B-LJB arrived from Melbourne at 16.55hrs as 'CX022'. The aircraft departed at 18.35hrs to Hong Kong using the same flight number.

This flight was a very historic event for Adelaide Airport. Not only was it B-LJB's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the 1st visit of Boeing 747-8 Varient to visit Adelaide. The last visit by a Cathay Cargo aircraft was back on 28/12/11 when B747-400F B-HUH made a visit.

This was N493MC's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was the 1st Atlas aircraft to visit Adelaide in 2014. The last visit we had was back on 26/11/14 when N419MC made a quick visit operating QF7581.

This was YIW's 1st visit to Adelaide, It was delivered on 18/9/14 and entered revenue service on 1/10/14.

Qantas A330-300 VH-QPA diverts to Adelaide (1st visit in new Livery)

Qantas Airways A330-300 VH-QPA operating 'QF30' from Hong Kong-Melbourne diverted to Adelaide, arriving at 0715hrs. The aircraft continued to Melbourne, departing Adelaide at 09.20hrs.

This was QPA's 1st visit into Adelaide since being re-painted into the new Qantas Livery. Qantas A330-300's are very rare into Adelaide these days since the airline pulled its thrice weekly Adelaide-Singapore service back in 2012.

Gulfstream 550 N310TK makes a quick visit

Alltech Inc Gulfstream 550 N310TK arrived at 12.00hrs from Auckland. The aircraft night stopped in Adelaide, before departing the next morning at 07.35hrs to Melbourne. The aircraft arrived later in the day, before night stopping again and departing on Thursday morning.

This is the aircraft's 2nd visit to Adelaide, its one and only previous visit was back on 24/11/12 where it made a quick 2 hour stopover between Sydney and Perth.

This is the aircraft 1st visit to Adelaide as a freight aircraft. Prior to Ausust 2014, the aircraft was a pssenger aircraft flying for Australian Airlines, Qantas, Jet connect (Qantas NZ) and lastly Alliance Airlines

This was XZL's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was also its 2nd and 3rd revenue flights. It entered service earlier in the day operating QF645 from Brisbane to Melbourne. It was delivered on 30/7/14.

GIV Exec Jet LLC. owned Gulfstream 4 N527JC arrived from Melbourne at 12.25hrs. After the passengers completed their intended goals in Adelaide, the aircraft departed to Darin at 15.25hrs.

This was the 1st visit of this aircraft to Adelaide, th is was the 1st foreign Gulfstream 4 to also visit Adelaide in 2014.

Qantas Freight B737-300F Diverts to Adelaide

Qantas Freight B737-300F VH-XMB operating 'QF7334' from Perth to Melbourne diverted Adelaide due to bad fog blanketing and closing Melbourne Airport. The aircraft arrived into Adelaide at 10.40hrs, after a quick fuel stop the aircraft departed at 12.05hrs continuing its trip to Melbourne.

This aircraft has recently been repainted into full Qantas Freight Livery, this was the 1st visit of a Qantas Freight painted aircraft to Adelaide.

Qantas A380-800 VH-OQI diverts to Adelaide (1st Visit)

Qantas Airways A380-800 VH-OQI operating 'QF10' from Dubai to Melbourne diverted to Adelaide due to bad fog blanketing and closing Melbourne Airport. The aircraft arrived into Adelaide at 05.05hrs, after a quick refuel the aircraft continued down to Melbourne at 06.35hrs.

This was OQI's 1st visit to Adelaide and only the 5th A380 to ever visit Adelaide.

This is the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is only the 3rd foreign bizjet to visit Adelaide for the month of June 2014.

This was SSB's 1st visit to Adelaide since being delivered on 29/4/14. Adelaide was the last port in the Singapore Airlines A330 network for SSB to visit.

Wells Fargo Bank owned Gulfstream G550 N1RP arrived at 11.15hrs from Perth, It departed to Essendon, Victoria at 16.45hrs. This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide.

Learjet 36A N41GJ makes a quick visit (1st visit)

Westair Holdings/ Global Jetcare Learjet 36A N41GJ arrived from Invercargill. NZ at 11.15hrs. Afer a quick fuel stop the aircraft departed at 13.20hrs to Denpasar, Indonesia.

This was the aircraft 1st visit to Adelaide. This aircraft since departing America on 7/6/14 has stop in 10 different cities along the way, which is quite staggering. Each visit to each city has lasted nor more than a day.

Jetstar Airways turns 10 years old- why paint an A320 Orange

Jetstar Airways on 25/5/14 turned a magical 10 years old. That is a big milestone in Aviation, and Aviation Australia. To mark the occasion the airline painted up A320 VH-VGF in a special '10 year' celebratory scheme.

On 4/6/14 VH-VGF made its 1st visit to Adelaide arriving as 'JQ772' from Brisbane at 08.40hrs. It departed back to Brisbane at 09.30hrs as 'JQ773'.

Alliance Airlines F70's VH-QQR and VH-JFB swap and go

Alliance Airlines F028-070 VH-QQR arrived at 09.05hrs from Brisbane at 'QQ571'. The aircraft departed to Perth at 11.55hrs as 'QQ992'.

This was QQR's 1st visit to Adelaide and the 6th Alliance F070 to visit Adelaide overall.

Later in the day fellow F28-070 VH-JFB arrived from Perth as 'QQ991'. The aircraft to Brisbane at 16.15hrs as 'QQ572'.

This was not JFB's 1st visit to Adelaide. Possibly although not confirmed 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its 1st visit was nack on 25/63/13

It seems as though thews 2 aircraft were operating a charter of some sort, however it seems they also used Adelaide as a stopover port for the aircraft to swtich bases.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines A320 VH-YUD (1st Visit)

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines A320 VH-YUD arrived from Perth at 09.55hrs as 'VA9057'. After overnighting, the aircraft departed back to Peth at 17.40hrs on Sunday 18/5/14 as 'VA9058'.

This was YUD's 1st visit to Adelaide, and it was also the 1st visit of a Virgin Australia Regional painted A320 to Adelaide. Sistership VH-FNP is also painted up in the Virgin Livery however has yet to visit in ti. It has visited a few times previously wearing its former owner Skywest,

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XAA arrived from Kuala Lumpur at 08.30hrs as 'D7246'. The aircraft departed at 10.20hrs as 'D7247' back to Kuala Lumpur. This aircraft is painted up in the airlines 'Now everyone can fly Xtra Long' livery

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It took XAA 6.5 months to finally make a visit, he reason for this can be put down to this aircraft having a completely different configuration to the other A330's in the fleet. 

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBV diverts to Adelaide

Qantas Airways A330-202 VH-EBV operating 'QF480' from Perth-Melbourne diverted to Adelaide today due to an aircraft getting stranded on one of Melbourne Airports runway. 'QF480' arrived into Adelaide at 11.45hrs, after refueling the aircraft continued to Melbourne departing at 13.35hrs.

This was EBV's 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its 1st visit was back on 27/1/14. The aircraft does wear 'One World' Alliance titles on its fuselage.

Brand new Challenger 604 VH-BLM arrived ex. Coolangatta at 11.05hrs, the aircraft then departed to Sydney at 16.10hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft was delivered to its owner in Coolangatta on 31/3/14.

Jetstar Airways A320 VH-XSJ arrived from Perth at 14.20hrs as 'JQ977'. The aircraft then departed to Melbourne at 15.10hrs as 'JQ779'.

This was XSJ's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft was delivered to Jetstar on 2/4/14 arriving into Melbourne from Singapore, Seletar Airport. The aircraft is leased to Jetstar Australia from Singapore based Jetstar Asia where it was flying as 9V-JST. 

Falcon 7X M-GMKM (1st visit)

MK Air Pty Ltd. owned Falcon 7X M-GMKM arrived at 10.05hrs from Male, after a quick re-fuel the aircraft departed to Mildua, Victoria at 11.55hrs.

This was its 1st visit to Adelaide, the aircraft frame is no stranger to Australian shores, it was previously registered VH-MQK

Cobhams latest B717 N928ME arrives on delivery

Completing its delivery flight from the U.S taday was new Qantaslink (Cobham Aviation) B717-200 VH-YQW. The aircraft arrived with its previous operators registration on it which was N928ME. It used the callsign ‘Southern Cross 919′ where it arrived into Adelaide at 12:45hrs.

The aircraft arrived started its delivery flight on 11/4/14 in Miami, then went onto to Billings, Logan International Airport, then onto Anchorage. After  Anchorage it departed to Sokol Airport in Russia. From there it went to Manila then finally arriving on Australian soil on 14/4/14 where it night stopped in Darwin. Today 8/5/12 it departed Darwin finally reaching its final destination in Adelaide.

OE-LFL began its delivery flight on 2/4/13 departing Vienna for Sanlifura- Doha- Ahmedabad-Kalkata- Bangkok (Don Mueng)- Singapore-Denpasa-Darwin-Alice Springs- Adelaide.

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XXQ (1st Visit)

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XXQ arrived ex. Kuala Lumpur at 09.25hrs operating 'D7246'. The aircraft departed back to Kuala Lumpur at 11.00hrs operating 'D7247'.

This was XXQ's 1st visit to Adelaide since the aircraft entered service on 19/3/14.

This was XUG's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered service today on 4/4/14, this was only its 3rd revenue service for the airline.

Thomson Airways B757-200 G-OOBD arrives (1st Visit)

Thomson Airways B757-200 G-OOBD arrived from Hobart at 10.42hrs as 'Thomson 962'. The aircraft is being used as a charter by world renowned tour operators 'TCS & Starquest Expeditions'. This charter has seen the aircraft route Los Angeles- Kona (Hawaii)- Pappette- Auckland- Hobart- Adelaide. It is expected its next stop after Adelaide will by Ayres Rock.

This was G-OOBD's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was is the 1st visit of a Thomson Airways aircraft to Adelaide. Thomson Airways was formally known as Britannia Airlines who did perform a number of charters to Adelaide during the late 1990's. With the arrival of G-OOBD into Adelaide, it takes Adelaide's B757 count to 14, which span over many different registrations. 2 of the more interesting ones in recent times were Uzbekistan Airways B757-200 VP-BUD in October 2008, and United States Air Force B757-200 99-003 in November 2012.

This was LEF's 1st visit to Adelaide as a Challenger 604. This registratin was previously worn on A Challenger 850.

This is EWC's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is also the 4th different B777-200LR to visit Adelaide, Previous visit were by A6-EWD which has operated Ek440/441 twice, EWC operated EK440/441 on 22/3/14 and A6-EWE which diverted to Adelaide in 2011 due to fog in Perth.

Cessna Citation 680 N510WD arrived from Hamilton, Victoria at 09.15hrs. The aircraft departed Adelaide at 11.25hrs for a short demonstration flight, arriving back into Adelaide at 12.25. After a quick re-fuel the aircraft departed to Perth at 13.55hrs

This is the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. This registration is used as a demonstration model for the Gulfstream company, in the non to distant future this will be re-registered to another owner. This will be the 10th Gulfstream 550 to wear the registration N550GA.

Malaysia Airlines A330-300 9M-MTO (1st Visit)

Malaysia Airlines A330-300 9M-MTO arrived ex. Kuala Lumpur at 08.17hrs as 'MH139'. The aircraft departed back to Kuala Lumpur at 14.30hrs as 'MH138'.

This was MTO's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft does have 'Oneworld' titles applied to it, to support Malaysia airlines alliance to the group. This is the 2nd A330 in the fleet o wear these titles, with 9M-MTE also with them.

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XXF arrived ex. Kuala Lumpur at 09.55hrs as 'D7246'. The aircraft departed at 11.20hrs as 'D7247'. This aircraft does wear the stunning 'Now Everyone can fly to Malaysia' Livery.

This was XXF's 1st visit to Adelaide in this livery. however it is the 3rd visit for this aircrft as it previously visited in normal Air Asia X livery as diversions from Melbourne.

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBV 'One World' Titles (1st Visit)

This was EBV's 1st visit to Adelaide, EBV also sports the 'One World' alliance decals on it.

Air Asia X A330-300 9M-XXO arrived from Kuala Lumpur at 09.40hrs as 'D7246'. The aircraft departed back to Kuala Lumpur at 11.15hrs as 'D7247'.

This was XX's 1st visit to Adelaide since it was delivered on 191/1/14. The aircraft does wear billoard titles saying "Thankyou Captain Park"

Alliance F70 VH-QQV (1st Visit)

Alliance Airlines F028-070 VH-QQV arrived from Brisbane as 'QQ992'. The aircraft night stopped in Adelaide before departing to  Pt. Augusta at 06.25hrs. The aircraft departed to Prominant Hill, before returning to Pt. Augusta and back to Adelaide. Since then the aircraft has been based out of Adelaide performing various charters.

This is QQV's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft is still in Adelaide, and was under going some minor maintenance.

Qantas B747-438ER VH-OEG drops in

Qantas B747-438ER VH-OEG arrived from Sydney at 13.20hrs as 'QF6006'. The aircraft overnighted in Adelaide and departed the following morning at 07.15hrs as 'QF2905' for a 12hr 3 minute scenic flight over Antarctica. The aircraft arrivied back from its sceninc flight at 19.25hrs.

Once again the aircraft night stopped in Adelaide, before departing at 19.10hrs back to Sydney as 'QF6001'.

This was VH-OEG's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is also, only the 4th B747-400ER of Qantas to visit Adelaide.
