Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZC (1st visit)

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZC arrived from Auckland at 09.55hrs as 'NZ191'. The aircraft departed back to Auckland as 'NZ192' at 11.55hrs.

This was NZC's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is ialso the 1st scheduled B787 to Adelaide. It is only the 2nd Air New Zealand B787 to visit Adelaide, with sistership NZE making 3 previous visits all on diversions.

This one off service was used as a promotional visit, Air New Zealand will be using B787's 3x a week on the Auckland-Adelaide flight from October 26th.

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE diverts in

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE operating 'NZ175' from Auckland to Perth arrived into Adelaide at 13.15hrs due to an un-well passenger. After off loading the passenger and a quick refuel. The aircraft departed at 15.10hrs continuing its journey to Perth.

This was ZK-NZE's 2nd visit to Adelaide. NZE made history as the 1st B787 to ever visit Adelaide back on 26/10/14

Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKH diverts to Adelaide (1st visit)

Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKH operating 'JQ24' from Tokyo-Narita- Melbourne diverted to Adelaide this morning due to poor weather. The aircraft arrived at 00.10hrs, after resting in Adelaide for the weather to clear the aircraft departed to Melbourne at 11.25hrs as 'JQ7991'.


This was VKH-'s 1st visit to Adelaide, it was also the 1st visit of a Jetstar B787 to Adelaide. This was the 4th B787 to ever visit Adelaide.

China Southern B787-8 B-2735 diverts to Adelaide

China Southern B787-8 B-2735 operating 'CZ319' from Guangzhou- Perth arrived into Adelaide at 11.55hrs due to thick fog blanketing Perth. After spending a little bit of time in Adelaide and a quick refuel the aircraft departed back to Perth at 13.15hrs.

This was the 1st visit of B-2735 to Adelaide, it was alost the 2nd visit of B787-8 to Adelaide. However it was the 3rd visit by a B787 to Adelaide, the 1st was Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE back in November 2014 and 2nd was China Southern B787-8 B-2372 on 5/7/15.

China Southern B787-8 B-2732 operating 'CZ319' from Guangzhou- Perth arrived into Adelaide at 10.00hrs due to thick fog blanketing Perth. After spending a little bit of time in Adelaide and a quick refuel the aircraft departed back to Perth at 11.45hrs.

This was the 1st visit of B-2732 to Adelaide, it was alost the 1st visit of B787-8 to Adelaide. However it was the 2nd visit by a B787 to Adelaide, the 1st was Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE back in November 2014.

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE diverts in (1st ever B787 to visit Adelaide)

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZE operating 'NZ176' operating from Perth to Auckland diverted to Adelaide due to a medical emergency. The aircraft arrived at 00.05hrs and then continued to Auckland departing at 01.50hrs.

This aircraft also wears the Air New Zealand special 'All Blacks' Livery. This was the 1st visit of an All blacks special to visit Adelaide. The airlines has an A320 (Domestic flights only), ATR, and a B777-300ER that are painted up in this speicla livery.
