Cobham (QantasLink) B717 VH-YQY completes Delivery flight

Cobham Aviation (QantasLink) B717-200 VH-YQY arrived at 20.35hrs from Broome as 'Southern Cross 1279' thus completing its 3 day delivery flight from Europe to the airline

The routing the aircraft took to be delivered to Adelaide was Norwich via Helsinki-Alexandria- Al Ain-Kolkata-Singapore-Broome and Adelaide. 

Gulfstream 650 N47TR (1st Visit)

Bank of Utah owned Gulfstream 650 N47TR arrived from Perth at 18.10hrs. After night stopping in Adelaide the aircraft departed at 16.25hrs to Melbourne, Essendon.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also only the 3rd ever G650 to visit Adelaide. 

Double Qantas A330-200's make 1st visit to Adelaide

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBR arrived from Sydney at 18.25hrs as 'QF765'. The aircraft departed back to Sydney at 19.35hrs as 'QF774'. This was EBR's 1st visit to Adelaide as a Qantas A330, it made many visits to Adelaide yesars ago when VH-EBR was used on Qantas B747-200.

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBC arrived from Melbourne at 18.45hrs as 'QF696'. The aircraft departed back to Melbourne at 20.00hrs as 'QF697'. This was EBC's 1st visit to Adelaide operating with Qantas. It had previously visited on diversion to Adelaide as VH-EBC when it was operating for Jetstar on 15/6/07 and again on 27/1/08.

The purpose of the 2 A330's visit to Adelaide was to bring in extra cargo and supporters of the Santos Tour Down Under bike race.

Echo Aviation Citation 550 N28SP makes a quick visit (1st visit)

Echo Aviation Citation 550 N28SP arrived at 15.15hrs from Perth. After a quick refuel the aircraft departed to Melbourne, Essendon Airport at 17.30hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft is no stranger to Adelaide as it was previously registered VH-YXY.

Careflight Nextant 400 VH-OVS (1st Visit)

Careflight Beechjet Nextant 400 VH-OVS arrived ex. Darwin at 04.25hrs as 'CFH46'. The aircraft departed back to Darwin at 16.40hrs using the same flight number.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was the 1st visit of a Beechjet Nextant 400 to Adelaide.

Deer Jet G550 B-8152 (1st Visit)

Deer Jet Gulfstream 550 B-8152 arrived ex. Sydney at 11.00hrs as 'Deer 577'. The aircraft departed back to Sydney on 28/1/15 at 20.10hrs as 'Deer 578'.

This is the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide, it is also the 1st visit of a Deer Jet airline aircraft to visit Adelaide.

SAAB 340B N420XJ arrives on delivery

Former Silver Airways SAAB 340B N420XJ arrived ex. Orange at 13.35hrs completing its delivery flight to Regional Express. The aircraft will under go maintenance and possible re-paint in Adelaide before entering service with the Regional airline.

The aircraft made an massive 6 stops from its delivery port in USA at Bangor. it routed Bangor-Renton- Hilo- Apia-Coolangatta-Orange-Adelaide.

Royal Air Force C17 'ZZ176' (1st Visit)

Following on from ZZ173's visit last week, this week Royal Air Force C17 Globemaster III ZZ176 arrived from Whenuapai, New Zealand at 16.30hrs as 'Ascot 6342'. The aircraft will night stopped in Adelaide.

This was ZZ176's 1st visit to Adelaide, it is only the 4th RAF C17 to visit Adelaide with sisterships ZZ171, 172 and 173 making visits. .
