Jetstar A320 VH-VFV 'Sunglass Hut' Decals (1st Visit)

Jetstar A320-232 VH-VFV arrived ex. Brisbane as 'JQ784' at 16.20hrs. The aircraft night stopped in Adelaide before departing the next morning at 06.35hrs as 'JQ771'.

The aircraft has had special decals applied promoting glasses chain 'Sunglass Hut' and the upcoming Australian summer. 

Tigerair A320-232(WL) VH-XUH (1st Visit)

Tigerair A320-232(WL) VH-XUH arrived ex. Melbourne at 14.20hrs as 'TT461'. The aircraft departed back to Melbourne at 15.00hrs as 'TT462'.

This was XUH's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft also made its 2nd visit to Adelaide later on in the day operating 'TT471/472' MEL-ADL-MEL service. This is also Tigerair Australia's 1st A320 in their fleet to wear Sharklets on the wings.

Jetstar Airways A320-232(WL) VH-VFY arrived ex. Coolangatta at 19.15hrs as 'JQ455' and departed back to Coolangatta at 19.55hrs as 'JQ452'.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. VFY was delivered to Jetstar on 8/12/14 and entered service on 12/12/14.

Jetstar Airways turns 10 years old- why paint an A320 Orange

Jetstar Airways on 25/5/14 turned a magical 10 years old. That is a big milestone in Aviation, and Aviation Australia. To mark the occasion the airline painted up A320 VH-VGF in a special '10 year' celebratory scheme.

On 4/6/14 VH-VGF made its 1st visit to Adelaide arriving as 'JQ772' from Brisbane at 08.40hrs. It departed back to Brisbane at 09.30hrs as 'JQ773'.

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines A320 VH-YUD (1st Visit)

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines A320 VH-YUD arrived from Perth at 09.55hrs as 'VA9057'. After overnighting, the aircraft departed back to Peth at 17.40hrs on Sunday 18/5/14 as 'VA9058'.

This was YUD's 1st visit to Adelaide, and it was also the 1st visit of a Virgin Australia Regional painted A320 to Adelaide. Sistership VH-FNP is also painted up in the Virgin Livery however has yet to visit in ti. It has visited a few times previously wearing its former owner Skywest,

Jetstar Airways A320 VH-XSJ arrived from Perth at 14.20hrs as 'JQ977'. The aircraft then departed to Melbourne at 15.10hrs as 'JQ779'.

This was XSJ's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft was delivered to Jetstar on 2/4/14 arriving into Melbourne from Singapore, Seletar Airport. The aircraft is leased to Jetstar Australia from Singapore based Jetstar Asia where it was flying as 9V-JST. 

Tigerair A320 VH-XUG (1st Visit)

Tigerair A320 VH-XUG arrived from Melbourne as 'TT463' at 15.15hrs. The aircraft departed at 16.10hrs as 'TT464' back to Melbourne.

This was XUG's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered service today on 4/4/14, this was only its 3rd revenue service for the airline.

Jetstar Airways A320 VH-VFX arrived ex. Perth as 'JQ768' at 09.15hrs. The aircraft departed to Melbourne at 10.10hrs as 'JQ769'.

This was VFV's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered service on 25/12/13. The aircraft was delivered on 2/12/13.

This was VFV's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered service on 24/12/13. The aircraft was delivered on 1/12/13.

Jetstar Airways A320-232(SL) VH-VFT (1st Visit)

Jetstar Airways A320-232(SL) VH-VFT arrived ex. Melbourne at 21.20hrs as 'JQ778'. The aircraft departed back to Melbourne at 21.50hrs 'JQ769'.

This was VFT's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered service earlier today. Adelaide had the honors of having the aircraft's 2nd and 3rd revenue service.

Jetstar Airways A320-232(SL) VH-VFQ arrived ex. Melbourne at 22.00hrs as 'JQ778'. The aircraft departed back to Melbourne at 22.30hrs 'JQ769'.

This was VFQ's 1st visit to Adelaide since it entered revenue service earlier in the day. 

Jetstar A320 VH-VFP (1st Visit)

Jetstar Airways A320 VH-VFP  arrived ex. Melbourne at 10.35hrs as 'JQ776'. The aircraft departed to Perth at 11.15hrs as 'JQ974'.

This was VFP's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the aircraft's 1st revenue service with Jetstar since it was delivered 2 weeks ago.

TigerAir A320 VH-VNQ (1st Visit) with new titles

Tigerair A320 VH-VNQ arrived from Melbourne as TT482 at 16.50hrs. The aircraft departed at 14.20hrs as TT483 back to Melbourne.

This is the 1st visit of a Tigerair titled aircraft to visit Adelaide. Tigerair is the new name for the former Tiger Airways. Bad weather in Perth causes Diversions to Adelaide

Emirates B777-300ER A6-EGF operating 'EK424' from  Dubai to Perth diverted to Adelaide this morning due to bad fog. The aircraft arrived in Adelaide at 03.40 as 'EK424', after a long layover in Adelaide A6-EGF departed back to Perth as 'EK424D' at 20.35hrs. This was EGF'S 1st visit to Adelaide in daylight hours, 2nd A6-EG* block to visit Adelaide in daylight and only its 9th visit to Adelaide since EK have been flying to Adelaide.

Qantas B767-300ER VH-OGI operating 'QF767' from Brisbane to Perth diverted to Adelaide also due to fog in Perth. The aircraft arrived at 01.40hrs, VH-OGI continued its flight to Perth when it departed Adelaide at 14.50hrs as 'QF767'.

Jetstar Airways A320 VH-VGD operating 'JQ980' from Brisbane to Perth diverted to Adelaide also due to fog in Perth. The  aircraft initially diverted to Kalgoorlie arriving there at 23.55hrs. The aircraft departed Kalgoorlie for Adelaide as ''JQ980' arriving at 06.15hrs. VH-VGD finally departed back to Perth as  'JQ7302' at 22.15hrs.

Singapore Airlines B777-200ER 9V-SQJ operating 'SQ213' from Singapore to Perth diverted to Adelaide this afternoon due to bad thunderstorms in Perth. The aircraft arrived at 16.30hrs, after what appeared to be a short fuel stop the aircraft continued to Perth departing at 17.55hrs as 'SQ213'. This was SQJ's 3rd visit to Adelaide, all of which have been diversions. The previous 2 visits were diversions from Melbourne.

Jetstar Airways A320-200 VH-VFO (1st Visit)

Jetstar Airways A320-200 VH-VFO arrived ex. Sydney at 13.35 as 'JQ766', before departing at 14.30hrs back to Sydney as 'JQ767'.

This was VFO's 1st visit to Adelaide since entering service on 21/6/13. This is also the 2nd A320 aircraft to visit Adelaide wearing the new sharklets. 

Fog in Perth and Sydney brings diversions to Adelaide

Fog at both Perth and Sydney airports led to Adelaide reeiving some diversions early this morning...

Emirates B777-300ER A6-ECE operating 'EK424' Dubai-Perth arrived at 03.17hrs. The aircraft is still on the ground in Adelaide.

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBM operating 'QF653' Melbourne to Perth arrived at 03.42hrs. This aircraft initally diverted to Kalgoorlie, before trying to get into Perth, it failed its attempt and came to Adelaide. The aircraft is still on the ground in Adelaide

Jetstar A320 VH-VQI operating 'JQ980' Brisbane to Perth arrived at 04.42hrs from Kalgoorlie. Like VH-EBM this flight initially diverted to Kalgorrlie, however instead of going to Perth, it flew Kalgoorlie-Adelaide. The aircraft is still on the ground in Adelaide

Qantas A330-300 VH-QPG operatng 'QF24' Bangkok to Sydney arrived at 06.00hrs. The aircraft contined its journey to Sdney, departing at 07.10hrs

Virgin Australia Regional A320 VH-FNP makes a visit

Virgin Australia Regional A320-200 VH-FNP arrived from Port Headland at 19.33hrs, after a quick refuel and de-boarding the aircraft departed to Perth at 20.52hrs.

Although this aircraft is now operated by Virgin Australia the aircraft still wears its former operator Skywest's livery. In April 2013 Virgin Australia gained approval to takeover and re-brand Skywest airlines based in WA. They have slowly started this process with 2x F50's & 1 F100 have been re-painted from Skywest to Virgin Australia.

Jetstar Airways A320-200(W) arrived from Sydney at 07.42hrs as 'JQ762'. The aircraft departed at  08.37hrs back to Sydney as 'JQ761'.

This was VFN's 1st visit to Adelaide since being delivered on 7/4/13. This was also the 1st visit of a Sharklet fitted aircraft to visit Adelaide.
