Atlas Air B747-400F N407KZ (1st Visit)

Atlas Air B747-400F N407KZ arrived from Brisbane at 18.35hrs as 'Giant 2123'. The aircraft originated in Los Angels then flew onto Honolulu then onto Brisbane and Adelaide.

The aircraft night stopped in Adelaide, before departing the following morning direct to Tokyo-Narita as 'Giant 2654' at 07.30hrs.

This was the 1st visit to Adelaide, it was also the 1st visit of an Atlas Air call sign Freighter to visit Adelaide. All previous visit of Atlas freight aircraft to Adelaide were under Qantas flight numbers.

Kalitta Air B747-400F N700CK (1st Visit)

Kalitta Air B747-400F N700CK arrived from Nadi at 10.20hrs as 'CKS532'. The aircraft departed to Shanghai as 'CKS958' at 16.50hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the 1st visit of a Kalitta Air B747-400 to Adelaide, there have been a few visits of the airlines -200F's series over the years.

National Airlines Cargo B747-400 N919CA arrived from Brisbane as 'NCR612'. The aircraft routed Los Angeles- Honolulu- Pago Pago. The aircraft departed to Shanghai at 16.25 as 'NCR802'.

This the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. This is also the 2nd National Airlines to visit Adelaide in a few days.

Antonov Design Bureau AN124 UR-82029 arrived from Nadi at 09.30hrs as 'ADB2148'. After night stopping the aircraft departed the following day to Perth as 'ADB248F' at 12.20hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is only the 3rd Antonov Design bureau AN124 to visit Adelaide with previous visits by sister-ships UR-82008 & UR-82027.

Emirates Sky Cargo B777-F1H A6-EFL arrived ex. Sydney at 13.30hrs as 'EK9242'. The aircraft departed at 17.50hrs to Manila using the same flight number.

This is EFL's 1st visit to Adelaide, it is the 2nd visit of an Emirates Sky Cargo B777F to visit Adelaide in 2 weeks. Sistership EFD visited on 10/9 to drop off a new engine for broken B777-300ER A6-EGA, EFL picked up the boken engine to take to Lufthansa Technic.

Pionair Australia (Virign Australia Freight) Bae 146-200F VH-SFV (1st Visit)

Pioanair Australia (operated by Virgin Australia Freight) Bae146-200F VH-SFV ferried in from Bankstown as 'VA9566' at 07.55hrs. The aircraft then entered its 1st day of freight operations the following day as to Melbourne as 'VA9570' departing at 20.45hrs.

This was SFV's 1st visit to Adelaide, the aircraft replaced Convair 580 VH-PDW which was used to operate for Virgin Australia whilst awaiting the delivery of SFV.

Airwork NZ operated by Toll Freight B737-400F ZK-TLL arrived from ex. Melbourne at 05.10hrs as 'TFR36'. After spending the day in Adelaide the aircraft departed to Sydney at 19.20hrs as 'TFR21'.

This was TLL's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft returned the next night and spent the corresponding weekend in Adelaide.

Emirates Sky Cargo B777-200LRF A6-EFD arrived from Dubai World Centre via Singapore at 09.25hrs as 'Emirates 9826'. After dropping off its precious cargo, the aircraft departed to Sydney at 12.20hrs using the same flight number.

The aircraft dropped off a new General Electric Engine for Emirates B777-300ER A6-EGA which has been stranded in Adelaide since last Wednesday when it diverted to Adelaide whilst operating 'EK432' from Dubai-Brisbane.

This aircraft made 3 records upon arrival into Adelaide. It was the 1st visit of a Emirates Sky Cargo, it was the 1st visit of A6-EFD, also it was the 1st visit of a B777F to visit Adelaide.

MASkargo A330-200F 9M-MUB arrived ex. Sydney at 18.00hrs as 'MH6204'. The aircraft is scheduled to night stop and depart tomorrow to Kuala Lumpur as 'MH6424' at 07.40hrs.

This is MUB's 1st visit to Adelaide, it is also the 1st visit of an A330-200F to Adelaide.

Airwork NZ (Toll Freight) B737-400F ZK-TLK arrived from Melbourne at 04.25hrs as 'TFR36'. After spending the day in Adelaide, the aircraft departed to Sydney at 19.20hrs as 'TFR34'.

This was TLK's 1st visit to Adelaide. The aircraft is no stranger to Adelaide, the aircraft used to be registered VH-TJI to Qantas.

Lynden Air Cargo Lockheed L-100-30 P2-LAC arrived at 22.15hrs direct from Port Moresby as 'LYB 5026'. After night stopping in Adelaide, the aircraft departed to Cairns the following morning at 11.50hrs using the same flight number.

This was Lynden Air 's and the P2-LAC 1st visit to Adelaide.

Silkway West Airlines B747-400F 4K-SW888 makes a visit to Adelaide

Silkway West Airlines B747-400F 4K-SW888 arrived direct from Baku (Heyder Alieyv Intl.), Azerbaijan at 10.00hrs as 'Silk West 6016'. After originally planed for a 3hr stopover in Adelaide, it turned into a 12hr stopover with the aircraft departing to Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum Intl.) at 22.10hrs as 'Silk West 6017'.

Ths aircraft creadted a few records upon touch down at Adelaide Airport. This was the 1st ever Azerbaijan registered aircraft to ever visit Adelaide. This the 1st visit of Silkway West Airlines to Australia and lastly it was the longest direct flight to Adelaide.

Malaysia Airlines B747-400F 9M-MPR arrived ex. Sydney at 14.25hrs as 'MH6204'. After being refuelled and loaded with freight the aircraft departed at 19.00hrs bound for Kuala Lumpur as 'MH6424'

This was the 1st B747 to visit Adelaide in 2015. MPR along with sister ship MPS have been making fortnightly visit to Adelaide for the past 2 years. In middle 2014 the 2 aircraft were re-painted into the airlines current livery. Although very basic, it actually makes the aircraft neat and tidy.

Cathay Pacific Cargo B747-867F B-LJB arrived from Melbourne at 16.55hrs as 'CX022'. The aircraft departed at 18.35hrs to Hong Kong using the same flight number.

This flight was a very historic event for Adelaide Airport. Not only was it B-LJB's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the 1st visit of Boeing 747-8 Varient to visit Adelaide. The last visit by a Cathay Cargo aircraft was back on 28/12/11 when B747-400F B-HUH made a visit.

Atlas Air B747-400F N493MC makes a visit (1st vist)

Atlas Air (operated by Qantas Freight) B747-400F N493MC arrived from Sydney at 13.35hrs as 'QF7581'. The aircraft night stopped before departing the following evening at 21.40hrs to Bangkok, Thailand using the same flight number.

This was N493MC's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was the 1st Atlas aircraft to visit Adelaide in 2014. The last visit we had was back on 26/11/14 when N419MC made a quick visit operating QF7581.

Airwork Flight operations leased to Toll Freight B737-400F ZK-JTQ arrived at 04.10hrs 'TFR36' from Melbourne. The aircraft stayed in Adelaide on the weekend and departed at 19.20 to Sydney as 'TFR34'

This is the aircraft 1st visit to Adelaide as a freight aircraft. Prior to Ausust 2014, the aircraft was a pssenger aircraft flying for Australian Airlines, Qantas, Jet connect (Qantas NZ) and lastly Alliance Airlines

Antonov Design Bureau AN124 UR-82008 arrived into Adelaide Airport today as 'Design Bureau 2078' from Darwin at 15.30hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is the 1st Antonov 124 to visit Adelaide since 6/2/1, when sister ship UR-82027 made a quick visit.

Qantas Freight B737-300F Diverts to Adelaide

Qantas Freight B737-300F VH-XMB operating 'QF7334' from Perth to Melbourne diverted Adelaide due to bad fog blanketing and closing Melbourne Airport. The aircraft arrived into Adelaide at 10.40hrs, after a quick fuel stop the aircraft departed at 12.05hrs continuing its trip to Melbourne.

This aircraft has recently been repainted into full Qantas Freight Livery, this was the 1st visit of a Qantas Freight painted aircraft to Adelaide.

Atlas Air (Qantas Freight) B747-48EF N419MC (1st Visit)

Making a very rare appearance into Adelaide today is Atlas Air Freight operated on behalf of Qantas Freight was B747-48EF N419MC arrived from Sydney as 'QF7581' at 07.55hrs. After picKing up a load of equipment and horses for the 'Cavalia' dancing show, the aircraft departed to Perth at 13.00hrs using the same flight number.

This was N419MC's 1st visit to Adelaide. This is the 3rd -400F of Atlas to visit Adelaide with N418MC, N412MC and N492MC visiting twice in 2012
