Kalitta Air B747-400F N700CK (1st Visit)

Kalitta Air B747-400F N700CK arrived from Nadi at 10.20hrs as 'CKS532'. The aircraft departed to Shanghai as 'CKS958' at 16.50hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It was also the 1st visit of a Kalitta Air B747-400 to Adelaide, there have been a few visits of the airlines -200F's series over the years.

National Airlines B747-400F N919CA (1st Visit)

National Airlines Cargo B747-400 N919CA arrived from Brisbane as 'NCR612'. The aircraft routed Los Angeles- Honolulu- Pago Pago. The aircraft departed to Shanghai at 16.25 as 'NCR802'.

This the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. This is also the 2nd National Airlines to visit Adelaide in a few days.

Antonov Design Bureau AN124 UR-82029 arrived from Nadi at 09.30hrs as 'ADB2148'. After night stopping the aircraft departed the following day to Perth as 'ADB248F' at 12.20hrs.

This was the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. It is only the 3rd Antonov Design bureau AN124 to visit Adelaide with previous visits by sister-ships UR-82008 & UR-82027.

This the aircraft's 1st visit to Adelaide. This is also the 1st National Airlines to visit Adelaide.

Saudi Arabian Airlines B777-300ER HZ-AK30 (1st Visit)

Saudi Arabian Airlines B777-300ER HZ-AK30 arrived direct from Jeddah at 11.15hrs as 'Saudia 7432'. After night stopping and rest in Adelaide the aircraft departed the following morning direct to Riyadh at 08.30hrs as using the same flight number.

The aircraft was in Adelaide as a charter to drop off the country's national Soccer team for their World Cup Qualifying match against Australia.

This was the 1st visit of this aircraft to Adelaide. It was also the 2nd Saudi Arabian Airlines aircraft to visit the country in a week.

Saudi Arabian Airlines B777-300ER HZ-AK28 arrived direct from Riyadh at 17.10hrs as 'Saudia 7431'. After a couple of delays and crew rest, the aircraft departed Adelaide on 3/6/17 direct to Jeddah at 09.50hrs as using the same flight number.

The aircraft was in Adelaide as a charter to drop off the country's national Soccer team for their World Cup Qualifying match against Australia.

This was the 1st visit of this aircraft to Adelaide. It was also the 1st Saudi Arabian Airlines to visit Adelaide, as well as the 1st Saudi Arabian Airlines B777-300ER to visit Australia.

Hi Fly A340-300 CS-TQZ (1st Visit)

Hifly (operated by ADA Gold) operating on behalf of Royal Australian Air Force A340-300 CS-TQZ arrived from Sydney as 'Aussie 21' at 18.35hrs. The aircraft departed from Darwin and Al Minhad in the Middle East at 20.05hrs using the same callsign.

This was TQZ's 1st visit to Adelaide and it was the 1st time the ADA gold aircraft has visited Adelaide in 2016.

Qantas B747-400 VH-OJT makes a visit

Qantas B747-400 VH-OJT arrived ex.Sydney at 11.05hrs as 'QF6007'. The aircraft then departed to Darwin at 12.45hrs as 'QF1364'. It is understood the aircraft was preforming a Defence Force charter up to Darwin.

This was OJT's 2nd visit to Adelaide. Its one and only previous visit was 21/10/13 whe the aircraft diverted to Adelaide whilst operating 'QF6' from Singapore-Sydney

Thomson Airways (TCS Expeditions) B757-200(WL) G-OOBF makes another visit

Thomson Airways (operated by TCS Expeditions) B757-200(WL) G-OOBF arrived ex. Fua'amotu International Airport, Tonga at 13.10hrs as 'Thomson 980'. After spending 4 days in Adelaide the aircraft departed to Jakarta at 12.10hrs on 5/10/15 using the same callsign.

This is G-OOBF's 2nd visit to Adelaide in 2015. The aircraft visited 18/4/15- 22/4/15. The aircraft is decked out in a all business class configuration. Adelaide was the 3rd stop in a 8 leg around the world flight.

Thomson Airways B757-200 G-OOBD arrives (1st Visit)

Thomson Airways B757-200 G-OOBD arrived from Hobart at 10.42hrs as 'Thomson 962'. The aircraft is being used as a charter by world renowned tour operators 'TCS & Starquest Expeditions'. This charter has seen the aircraft route Los Angeles- Kona (Hawaii)- Pappette- Auckland- Hobart- Adelaide. It is expected its next stop after Adelaide will by Ayres Rock.

This was G-OOBD's 1st visit to Adelaide, it was is the 1st visit of a Thomson Airways aircraft to Adelaide. Thomson Airways was formally known as Britannia Airlines who did perform a number of charters to Adelaide during the late 1990's. With the arrival of G-OOBD into Adelaide, it takes Adelaide's B757 count to 14, which span over many different registrations. 2 of the more interesting ones in recent times were Uzbekistan Airways B757-200 VP-BUD in October 2008, and United States Air Force B757-200 99-003 in November 2012.
